Setting up Authenticator app for 2FA

Having issues with your SMS verification, or want to secure your Arival account even better? You've come to the right place!

We encourage you to enable Authenticator as your 2FA, which is more reliable than the standard SMS verification.

Ready to do this? Let's go..

1️⃣ Download Google Authenticator App:

2️⃣ Configure your Arival account

  • Navigate to Settings Gear icon on the top right, select Security on the left side, and then select Change 2FA Method

  • Select Authenticator

  • Open your Google Authenticator mobile App, and select Scan QR Code to scan your unique QR code on your computer screen, and enter the 6 digits provided via SMS

  • Tip: You can download your backup codes in case you lose access to your Authenticator app

3️⃣ Log in to your Arival account

  • Once you sign into your Arival account, instead of relying on your SMS code, you'll now open Authenticator to input your unique 6 Digit code

  • Now sit back, and enjoy your enhanced security and further peace of mind πŸ˜€
